Situated in the middle of a 100-acre pasture, surrounded by gently rolling hills & farmlands, offering a peaceful setting and scenic views, Bear Rock Lodge is the perfect vacation spot for entertaining friends and family. The Great North Woods is well known for its scenic beauty and abundant wildlife. Opportunities exist for the outside adventurer— Riding the Wilds on an ATV, hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing, boating, fishing, hunting, snowshoeing, sledding/ snowmobiling— to name a few.
The house lends itself to entertaining, with an open post and beam living space, kitchen large enough for multiple cooks, an adjacent, comfortable sitting area, conducive to intimate conversation. The lodge also offers intimate nooks for privacy. There are five bedrooms, plus a bunkroom that sleeps six, a loft space for one, and five baths.
A well-appointed craft studio is located nearby in the post and beam barn, offering endless possibilities for creative endeavors. Rubber stamping—card-making—is the number one activity, closely followed by scrap booking, felting, fiber arts, beading, sewing and quilting. Whatever your interests, we can accommodate.
After a hard day on the trail, come back to enjoy in-home spa treatments: massage, facials, manicures and pedicures are all offered at Bear Rock Lodge, with advance notification. Let us know to include them when planning your weekend!
